Sorry for not answering in time.....Im very busy at the moment. I got your pm and wanted to answer as Im back from work. But now you found this modification from the second part of the everyday electronics magazine by yourself. .I had to go through some problems in building the epe logger by myself in the past...... Good to hear that you solved the problem...;-)

1. Cut the track between R16 And pin7 of IC4 (as it is mentioned in the part 2 on the epe magazine ) i am showing with an arrow in the picture .
2. Connect the now-open end of R16 to the pole of Switch S2
(in the picture i have place a red dot from where you are going to solder the wire )
3. After you do that and track is cutted R16 and S2 pole connected Turn on the erm press first and hold S6 (mode) and then while you are pressing and holding S6(mode) Press and hold also S8(Save) and the message (Ref saved will appear)
as you hold and press those two buttons release first S8 and then S6 .Then the value from Max will go to 0A .
Quote make sure the wires of the output are separeta and are not very very close .
This is the solution to AMAX value .
