earth resistivity meter

hello everyone; i was wandering if anyone has seen the earth resistivity meters on ebay, one of them is 4300 model, i wandered if this can be used with the wenner method and if it could be used with some sort of logging system. and would it be good for archeology and treasure hunting. it takes 8 aa baterries is that enough for power? would appreciate any advise from anyone who knows more than me, and that dont take much. thanks in advance, johnny;;

Cant say i trust those...Batteries are not enough to produce IP to give you a good picture of the subsurface.
