    Rover UC

    Hello together,
    long time before, i like this idea to build a metaldetector like Rover UC from OKM.
    But this company has a real crazy price policy.

    A friend has orderd last year a Rover UC from OKM Emirates for re engineering.
    What we see after this, was real terrible. Cheap material without any useful electronic
    parts. Its a very tricky company. Thea are still selling GRP Antennas!!!
    Not one of devices from them have a GPR technology! Rover UC is not a multifunctional device.
    Only the software is multifunctional, but software is using the same input signal for all
    Visualizer 3D pictures.


    Kellyco write on website about Rover UC
    -Visual magnetometer to locate ferromagnetic metal objects underground
    -Visual 3d ground scans with manual and automatic impulse mode
    (graphical ground scans with three-dimensional analysis directly on the smart phone)
    How it is possible to make with a magnetometer a real 3D Groundscan???

    This is the good one about it
    - It is a light weight
    - It is adjustable
    - Head set is connectable
    - all in one it is a very practical design

    And this we do not like
    - Discrimination between between ferrous and non-ferrousis is not possible!
    - high-tech 3d ground scanner! That is the biggest joke!!!
    - FM Radio, for what this is useful? (if you need, you can buy a radio or mp3 player for 20US$)
    - For what you need camouflage, what you have to hide?

    And all this for US$ 12000 (Kellyco price), ONLY ;-)



    Last and end we was also builing a useful prototyp in similar design.

    - Metaldetector
    - Discrimination: ferrous no ferrous metal: yes (accoustic signal)
    - Signal output: accustic
    - Adustbale Aluminium Stick
    - Mode: automatic

    --- and it works

      I have a couple of programs that can do the trick ( 3D visualization, at least one for real-time 3D )



      Im interested in making a prototype similar to OKM exp 4000 or JeoHunter. But ONE does WORK for real treasure hunters.


      My budget for this project $1000 - $2000.

        I have inquiries for the above detectors occasionally, but the okm's price is very expensive, so if you have already made your copyone? Could you provide my potential for his consideration.

          i have Rover Uc was purchased last year.
          i try many time to update our software 3d or the smartphone application , but i have answer "NO UPDATE AVAILABLE".
          is it possible , the OKM don't have any update or correction bags during one year .

              thank you for your reply.

              my smartphone application version is 2.1/1.1 updated by the end of 2011.
              i found this application on Android site updated last month.

              anyway , i don't get similar scans when i repeat the scans many times with the same conditions.
              also the Gold target and the ferrous target give the same significations and colors when i check them in visualizer 3D also some times i find spots of targets and some times i find nothing.


              can you help me and send me how i can distinguish between the gold target and the ferrous target.

                Hi Android version is fine. problem is visualizer software. this need some modifications. after also discrimination between ferrous and precious metall is mch more easy. software works much more exactly after our mod. If you want it, send your mobile modell. but its not free of charge!

                  Pls clarify and what are the types and the cost of modifications.

                    Hallo,
                    we need serialnumber from your device and your original activated
                    software. This you can send per email.
                    Price is 200 US$. It need like 1 week. after we send your software back.
                    You have to overwrite some files
                    from your visualizer 3d software. its easy. and we wil support you.
                    after
                    you can see the results on your screen much more clear and with a better
                    discriminiation like i wrote before.
