Has anyone built one of these? using the complete set of parts supplied by them, built to a design by our very own Carl I beleive. Not wanting to get bogged down with design and pcb's (all beyond my skills). It will be used only to survey for remains close to surface max depth 0.5 mtr. We will also be surveying using the EPE earth restivity meter. People have mentioned that aligning sensors is a major problem but that part I will hopefully find easy as long as it's purely a mechanical problem.
    Any thought's good or bad

Hi Bob, I looked at these and was maybe goint to buy a pair of sensors. The main things for me would be

    not having a data logger
Cal prior to use - aligning with the earths field etc looks a hard to repeat if a bit cryptic
Thermal Drift mentioned - potential used of feedpck portions of the better sensors left me cold.

For a basic tool - you will get a result Im sure.

Ive been using snuffler for resistivity imaging - so you could use that?
