  • MAGNOMETER QUESTION

is it possible to put a magnometer sensor into the coil of a pi detector and would it need two sensors to reject earth's magnetic field ????

  • #2
the sensors or the sensor is getting the earth's magnetic field's force and variation of the force. this variation is being in the dependence
of objects at depth, as being metalic so being non-metalic nature. for magnetometer the earth's magnetic field is something
TX power that you do not need to generate because it is itself. while in PI you have to translate TX power energy in the ground.
also, magnetometer is working in very strange way - one cycle in 1-3 second. you see - this is very uncomfortly for
PI principle with 100 and more time in second the cycle is.

      it is possible -
i do not have two sensors !it is possible to do this in two ways
The first is that the off tx power pi and include sensor magnetometer to check iron or was not iron ,Another method is to tx power pi reduced and adjust sensitivity to Sensor magnetometer !
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kAxN2d_5EzU This is an example of when turned off tx power pi and include magnetometer.

can the power supply and output of the magnometer be turned on by a extra sample pulse and would the tx coil drive have to be turned off when sampling the iron ???? what sort of depth can you get on iron using a magnometer ????

depth depends on the type magnetometer, simplest
does not feel small of iron but we detected screwdriver at approximately 50cm, a subject in the soil size the canister gasoline 20l feels at a depth 150cm .
