  • Detect 1 Gauss of magnetic field

    Hi All ,

I am new to magnetic field sensing , i want to know what is best way to detect a magnetic field as low as 1 Gauss .

Should i employ a hall sensor or use a coil to detect it ?

    Where 1 Gauss = .0001 Tesla

    Hi PICoil.
    Earth's magnetic field has 0, 5 G.
It's easy to coil and hall sensor.
I think that you want to measure to the nearest field 1,000 times more specifically to search for treasures.
Here hall sensor is not enough.
    Read this forum.
    Best regards Chris.
