  • Atoms Proton Magnetometer

    Hello all.
A friend here at Greece has construct a very good, sensitive and simple at operation proton magnetometer.
It is very light and very easy at use.
For more informations you can see it here.. https://www.atoms.gr/home/

Interesting that this magnetometer has better specs than anything homemade or commercially available on the market. Unless there are components on the back side of the board, or there is another board not shown, there are some things missing to make a functioning PPM.

Great design. Nice to see how Greek producer advanced from LRL to PPM.

Seems missing parts like GPS module is incorporated in tablet/mobile used.

I never saw it inside so i don't know what other components there are inside the box.

Yeah, I'm not talking about a missing GPS, you can have a working PPMag without a GPS. I'm talking about things like high powered switching transistors, Low noise amplifier circuits. How does carrying a tablet for an interface not interfere with the readings since it will contain ferrous material. I had to be very careful to keep ferrous material out of the design of my mag. Lots of peculiarities here.
