  • Excel sheets for calculating PPM sensors

    Hi,

I can't open the xls files from the website: http://www.geotech1.com/cgi-bin/page...hler/index.dat
    I've tried using Libreoffice, MS-Office 2003 and 2016.
Can somebody open them and maybe export them?

    Thanks

Yes ... but not the ones in the link. They appear to be corrupted.

I managed to find the original Excel files that Jim had sent me. They opened fine on my computer, so I re-uploaded them to the server. But as soon as I re-downloaded them to check, they would not open. Every time they are getting corrupted; I suspect the browsers are doing some kind of "dynamic changes" to the file to prevent viruses. The old Microsoft file formats had security weaknesses which is why there are the new X-formats.

Anyway, I translated the XLS files to XLSX format and they seem to download OK.
