Hi everyone
A while ago I had a discussion with a friend; about a suitable deep seeking metal detector. We were speaking about OKM detectors. He said most of them are not reliable and they're simple magnetometers that analyze magnetic parameters by an application and make a map of ground. I don't know if it's true or not. I have a technical question so. Is it possible to make something like that? An accurate magnetometer and an application running in mobile or laptop. You enter the field data (given by magnetometer) to the application and get a mapping.
I live in Turkey and here in middle-east there are many archaeological graves which has valuable bronze or golden treasures inside. Most of them are 1.5-2 meters underground. I'm not sure that Garrett ATX or Gemini3 can do the job or not! And buying a GPX5000 or a Lorenz machine costs too much. Somebody who did archaeological jobs would help me!...
