Hello,
Could someone help me with the HDZF format. I live in Tucson,AZ and I can
get the local USGS magnetometer charts at
http://geomag.usgs.gov/frames/mag_charts.htm . However, I can not seem to
decipher the D units. The magnetic declination here should be around 11 to
12 degrees. Are the two declinations related?
I am playing with an FGM-3 and a PIC processor. It would be nice to compare
my readings to USGS.
