You can easily get PVC pipe and fittings up to 12" but not at Home
Depot. I worked for an irrigation company as a teenager and we used it
all the time, mostly on golf courses. We also had a "cutoff" pile of
scraps, when I needed short PVC for a project I would get it for free.
If you have a commercial irrigation company nearby (not a residential
outfit!) you might find what you need really cheap or free.
