--My mag. is to be used on land.
If it is of any interest, I have a copy of the plans for a differential
magnetometer from a 1960 vintage "Skin Diver" magazine. AS the saying goes
'been there and did that -until I was washed into a barnicle covered rock off
Plaos Verdes, Calif.A quick way to loose weight!
It is a kinda sorta modernized version of the original English project. It
was ment for above salt water use and has a couple hints on how to keep the
thing running once it has been dampend with salt water ( Lots of WD-40!). It
was copy righted, I guess it would be OK to scan it if you are interested.
I built the stand-alone mag. to get an idea of what it will take to successfuly
get the gradiometer going.
