From long I was reading everything about magnetometers and decided for the
fluxgate FGM3h frequency output.
I assembled a diferential using two of this sensors. I designed pc board in
order to sharpen sensors output reading the diference of both frequencies.
In order of the very high orientation sensivity I had to fix it in hard and
heavy PVC tube. It have good sensivity, about, 0.3 gamma and work very well
when quiet, but was impossible to allign the sensors in order to have the
same readings when moving or spinning the gardiometer. With the normal
rooling under water I found random variations of 70 gammas.
Defenitively I will go forward to Proton Mag once it is quite insensitive to
direction. Do you can help me on schematics?
