I could say this 100 different ways, but in the interest of being constructive:


I find some of what you write informative, but for the most part, your tone is not acceptable or appropriate for this forum.


This is a forum of hobbyists who are interested in sharing ideas and working together.


It is not a forum for selling, and certainly not a forum for cursing at each other.


Forums for those purposes are available. Therefore, if you are interested in helping us, in an appropriate way, I think we would all appreciate your input. Otherwise I think you can find your way to those other forums!


(Also, if you used lower case lettering, I think people would appreciate it.)

Thanks for the informative post. I wish you sent this e-mail (without the attitude) and not the first one.


I have no doubt that the system I am building will not produce the quality pictures that a commercial unit does. However, it has been successfully used to locate wrecks in the recent past by a few people already. The cost is minimal.


The funny thing is, I heard this same message on people building rebreathers. I have a MK15 ($10,000) and there are a number of people that have made there own. They both work.


I think your knowledge could be beneficial to the members of the list and would hope that you would stay and contribute regardless of whether we make a useable unit or not.

I was shocked to learn of the overhauser mag, what apprears to


be a really solid application of quantum mechanics (and I just

As I understand it, RF at about 60MHz excites electrons in the


close proximity of a nitrogen atom, and an emission occurs


spontaneously between two states at an energy that stimulates


the precessing protons. Is this stimulated sympathetic emission,


as in a laser?


Will 2,2,6,6 tetramethyl piperidine oxide in methanol be adequate?


If so, at what concentration? If not, then what does work?


Must the excitation frequency be locked to the precession signal,


or is it simply an energy level pumping source? What's the


lifetime


of the excited state? Gosh, have I got questions...


Is it possible to convey such information by email?????

I have come in protonmag forum yesterday and I was glad to


receive an interesting question at once. I am a professional


developer of Overhauser magnetometer. I want to ask what is


necessary for you? Really Overhauser sensorss have only smaller


dimensions and energy consumption. You can have sensitivity up to


0,01nT at speed 3 seconds and energy 10 Wt with the ordinary


proton sensors if you will be use digital algorithms of processing


of a precession signal. Concerning to Overhauser sensors, this are


too simple sensors in principle but it is necessary to have the


special equipment and experience of works.
