I have just recieved my Mag. from Quantros via/ebay. It works very
well but the readings are confusing. The numbers are supposed to increase as
I approach a target, but so far they actually decrease regardless of the
direction I am walking in, (North, South, East or West.) Is this the
oriantation of the target to the coil only ? In what situ does the number
increase with proximity and am I better to search in the East-West than the
North-South heading ? The unit is accurate to 1 Gamma. Thanks, Kris Henkel,
