    Re: electroscope

Like any other sales gimiac, give something a name that sounds like something you know of in your hindbrain, so it comes across as more believible to customers. I'm surprised no one beat on Thomas for name copyright. The people that use them either swear by them or at them. No middle ground. I have no real opinion for them. The only time I saw one used, I was not impressed. My own magic widget was better to me. Regards Marc

Thanks for the reply back. I guess we'll have to wait for Sam to let us know on the oratron. Doubt if it talks, orat-ron(orator electronic). Best guess blind. LOL Marc

          Weighing homebrew toroids

          Hi Guys,

Hopefully this summer I will finish my toroidal PPM, if the

distilled water hasn't leaked out of the ring by now - in hindsight

I should have weighed it after I wound it so that I could check for

leaks ! Its a bit late for me now, its 2 years since I wound it,

but it might help others with "fresher" toroids'.......

I reported last week a wreck might have been found here in Agulhas,

but it turns out they went away empty handed,I was really looking

          forward to some excitement!

I dont know what has happened to the wreck of the Brederode which

was found here a couple of years back. It was evidently found with

mags and sidescan, and some porcelain was bought up ( and the bell )

. All very exciting for our little village.

It made local TV headlines, and the last I heard they were trying to

raise funds to do the diving.

          Good hunting all

            RE: Weighing homebrew toroids

Good news!!!: I congratulate your return to this forum. Let us know

            your work.

Here, a friend (Rubén Collado) found an ancient craft in Uruguay

(!00 Km. from home) 2 mts. under sand an water near the seashore.

They begin the next week the diving work.

I hope I'll begin this summer to work with my own magnetometer.

            Regards.
