I got a little confused about the last part of your question. But if a dowser (or an LRL-er of MFD-er or whatever you want to call it) can't do any better than someone who guesses in a DB test then it's not time to change test methodologies to try and get better results - it's time to seriously question whether the device works in the first place.

got it--thanks to explain more for me..sorry for my selection of words to beunclear---it seems though that thegeneral position of a lot of lrl userswhen bad results is to "have a reason"well the moon was not full..or ....or to cry foul--or...to me-just try tounderstand...

Yes, there are a lot of excuses for failure, but each and every one of these reasons are testable as well. Which makes me wonder why many dowsers are so hostile to testing, when it provides so much useful information.

        Autotransformer

In the schematic of the PW.Sandbanks PI Metal Detector the part TOKO 87BX135 is used . Can anybody help me to find a place where this part can be bought , or is there a replacement for it . The TOKO manufacturer is not aware of the existence of this part . Kind of puzzles me now . Regards and thanks for info . Cornelius . [email protected]

Build the proscan or use any transformer of the old radio transistor

Carlos . In combination with a c.m.o.s. it forms a voltage inverter . I guess we misunderstood eachother . Regards Cornelius

              Re: Autotransformer

Hello Cornelius, when I build the Sandbanks memory to have used a trasnformator that I obtained from an old radio to transistors. My respect

Carlos . I did work with the 1:1 transformer from a transistor radio . Thanks . Cornelius
