Mag instruction book needed .

I won at auction the other day a old Discoverer 3 Magnetometer with a Discoverer 4 boat/land control unit . Dates from around 1972 .This item was owned by the late great Kelly Tarlton ( New Zealand's number one shipwreck diver) . I have had the motor running (all systems go ) but no way of knowing what I'm looking for as I don't have the book of words . It's made by a company called A.Z.A Scientific Inc but they are ( I think ) no longer around . Has anyone got a handbook on this mag . Or knows what happened to A.Z.A Scientific Inc from Saline , Michigan ?
