Maybe i am in the right place? I am a sports fisherman that likes to fish wrecks on the East coast of ireland. I understand Magnetometers are used to find wrecks. Does anyone on this forum use this equipment in the Irish sea? Perhaps maybe you have had results in this area. There are a great many wrecks in this area resulting from the two world wars although most of them are unknown as regaurds their true positions. Perhaps someone might be able to shed some light?

    Thanks

    Hi Luke,
I like my mag, but the best I have done was to locate my truck. These things are the most interesing tools a wreck hunter could use. I like mine more than those little pickles or french fries. Found a few wrecks myself but they were already pretty well worked over. Best of luck to you and keep up the search. Get one of those units with the GPS tie and fancy software. I'm sure what you are looking for has been documented by the military, but then they would have to kill you if they told you where the wrecks are to be found. Do some research, it's part of the adventure. Be careful of old rotten explosives and subs with the hatches closed, you could get sucked in to something aweful. Stay away from the Lusitania, it killed too many in a war. Love life at sea level.
    Best to You, Pal
