If I turn on the device through the charging port, why is there no voltage on the contacts, where I understand the battery should be connected!?

And why does the Lidarking device turn on from the charging port?

I purchased 5 complete kits, all five had missing parts, 3 off them wont start powered up even holding start button more than 5 seconds. I tried different power adaptors from 1amp to 5amp usb etc, still the same these are poor quality, I was planning to buy lots more, but so far its really put me off buying from any chinese outsource.
They are faulty units until its resolved from seller these are not great kits, no wiring diagrams to make a safe solder, if people on this forum would stop judging new members about this and help show plans, show videos of how great this unit is to build, show plans on where to wire things HELP us and stop being judgemental .

To begin with, I recommend you "both" to get information here: https://www.geotech1.com/forums/foru...er-gradiometer

Ok, so that the other fair members of the forum don't think I'm exclusive, I'll repeat in detail:
The type C port is only used for charging.
The 3.7V lithium-ion battery (similar to a mobile phone battery, with a protection board) is connected to the B+ and B- of the main pcb.
There is a charging circuit, a one-button power On and Off circuit, a DC-DC boost circuit, and a 5V voltage regulator circuit on the pcb.
The charger can only charge the battery, and using it to power the motherboard is unstable.

To start the device, do the following:
          1) Install a 3.7V (4.2V full) LiPo type battery.
          2) Make sure the battery is full, if not; plug in the charger to charge it.
          3) When the battery is full; turn off the charger.
          4) Press the "On" button for a maximum of 3 seconds. The device will start.

            Ha, ha, ha!
I see that my good friends (at least I consider them as such) never sleep!
I just wonder who is on "duty" now!?
The one with more hair on his head or the one with less hair on his head?

As I said in my earlier PM to you, you might want to try a different approach. Taunting and belittling other members is not allowed, and doing it to your own customers seems rather dumb.

Uh, I didn't see the PM!
Today is a strange day, I have too many correspondences everywhere.
All messengers are boiling here at me!
In any case; I don't mind deleting too many "emotional" posts.
Now you reminded me; something is wrong with the forum PM system!? For a long time.
Messages are difficult to open, and in order to write a reply I have to click on the name of the member and only then get the option "send pm" or something like that.
Due to the difficulties with the PM system, I almost lost the habit of checking PMs.
I really didn't even notice that I had new PM.
In the future, you and other members will know; if I don't respond to PMs, it doesn't mean that I'm too overbearing or that I'm deliberately ignoring messages... but I simply don't notice the notification and have additional problems manipulating messages.

                P.S.
OK, so now the one with the less hair on his head is on duty!

I tried again with a PM on the forum.
                  PM is a disaster!
Although I opened your PM and read it a couple of times; I still get a notification as if it's a new message??
And this has been happening like this for months with other members' messages.
So I became inert and uninterested to always check for new messages.
So I literally ignore those notifications for months.
Because whenever I open; I always see that there are no new messages, only old ones that I have read a long time ago.

Am I the only one having these problems?
                  Is there anyone else?
Or did everyone else give up fighting windmills a long time ago?

I applied 5 volts to the board and the device did not start.
It does not respond to the power button, but the display backlight immediately lit up and the Bluetooth module LED began to blink.
                    What's been done wrong now?

On Aliexpress they told me that power should be supplied to contacts B+ B-, 3.7 V.
Without instructions it is not clear what and how to do - especially since the board does not indicate that the power supply is 3.7 volts.
I will test it soon and write about the result.

Credov... you will do anything possible - just not what is right!
You brought 5v to the sensor power points!
                        Ha, ha, ha!
                        Is my English that bad?
Is it so hard to understand what I wrote in previous posts?
Is it that hard for you to understand that you need to connect a regular 3.7v Lipo battery to points B+ and B-?
I am more and more convinced that you are a prankster who came here to make stupid jokes and troll this whole story!
