Software for Mag and GPS readings?

I have constructed Carls Fluxgate Mag (Gradiometer KIT) for use in wreck finding and need some help finding software to log and view my Data from the Mag and GPS. Any ideas? I read an earlier post abot a fella named Jon who had written his own program but there was no contact info or web address.

You might want to consider the Surfer 7 software from Golden Software. It is fairly comprehensive. Another alternative is GEM-VIS, a simple quality control and visualization system developed for GEM Advanced Magnetometers by Encom Technologies of Australia. You could use the 3D graphical XY plotting capabilities of Excel.
