I made this device but no one share software I dont know why ? Is that really difficult ?
I said to IC-77 " just want to try it and if it is successfull I will pay". He said always no

I have lots of software full versiyon but only Snuffler getting data from Logger.
Only need another software which is receiving data from logger.

I dont need activation code , if you have software send me it.

hi everyone . this is my first Participation in this great forum.
can any one help me . i want to create this FGM 3
and i want to know some information :
- how many spiral in the bobbin
- Rotation curve
- and the dimensions of the coil
- diameter of copper wire

i have many places and many caves treasure an army romanian caves but i can't detect the door or The closest place to drill, with a pulse detecteur like lorenz Z1*.

please i want to create this magnetometer in a few hours. thnaks for all .

Hi I have just completed this project and on first switch on I get 'NO GPS CONNECTED'
TEST SWITCH ON, SCREEN MODE switch in SCREEN MODE 2, PC/RUN switch in RUN MODE.

If I switch the SCREEN MODE switch to SCREEN MODE 1 it is OK, so disconnecting PIN 34 of the PIC connection to 0V seems to sort it. Any ideas anyone.

Hello guys,

I have build a copy of epe pic magnetometer, and it does not work. When I power it on, I have on the upper line of the screen all the dots on, the second line is blank. Also all LED's are off; like the PIC is not working.

I have checked power supply for the pic: ok , external oscillator for pic: ok , i even replaced the crystal and the capacitors for it with 22pf instead of 10pf, and still the same result. Also checked pcb, soldering , components, everything seems ok.
I programmed the pic with pic kit 2 and MPLAB IDE, setting the configuration bits to be defined by software, previously tried with pic kit programmer 2 , but no difference.

To me it seems that I'm doing something wrong with the programmer pic kit 2 , can someone please give me some clues, on what to do or what to check?

I still haven't found the problem, I also checked FGM 3 sensors output and they work. Is there any modification to the circuit that I should make, in order for it to work , I have read on other forums that due to pic controller revisions it is possible that some pins that were left floating in the initial design, to require now to be connected to Vdd or Vss. Any suggestions?

I can say almost for sure, that is something wrong with PIC/programming. When display is like this mean that is not initialized. I can send you working PIC, because I don't use it any more.

Why not just use a $3.00 Arduino Nano and have a go at programing it your self
