Thus the best choice to detect gold in 2-3 meter depth under the ground is only PI metal detector ??? yes?
what is your propose...?
Hi zenit52
I am just a radioamateuer and very fresh here in this forum with so many guru in this hobby , i just find out that my gradiometer shows me from a distance of 20 - 30 burried things , then the next step is to find out what is underground , so its up to you what you use next , a good metal detector to find out the ferrows and non-ferrows metals ?
the next move is yours
* next days i will see the bionic machine of a friend

The inductance changes because the coil is wound on a core with high permability. It`s inductance changes when influenced by ferromagnetic materials. Seems as if the sensor electronics is some kind of square wave LC oscillator.
Very close !
It seems that the sensor is a Armstrong oscillator ( thanks Ivica !), the coreform inside is a metal strip like vitrovac or metglas. ( both work )
If you look at Yahoo magnetometer group you can find more info !
There is a circuit that works !
