Note that this detect movement of trucks an trains from distance because these vehicles vibrating the soil, and if you put a magnet near the coil, small movements produce a small voltage wich is amplified and show in audio and bargraph. This cicuit is very similar to the MFD by Andy Flind.

Only mouvenent,and large objects in the ground whith relative mouvement the coil in ground? I want made this circuit and testing its the only way, whit many coils like used in TV its an idea

Any Iron core transformer used as a in put amplified enough would show Earth or other objects magnetic fields present.

Looks cool to me.

Keeping the Responce below 50 or 60 Hz is the trick.
