  • Searching details of Grad-601

    Hy,

my friend use at new the ttp://www.bartington.com/products/Grad601singleaxisgradiometer.cfm]Grad-601[/url].

I very interesting for Sensor-Details. On Homepage you can see the sensor´s - but i can´t find a answer, what kind of sensor is use.
    The sensor can messure at 100pT - i think that´s not a Fluxgate-Sensor of Ferrit-Basis.

Have anyone here an answer, what i find at inside the sensor?
What´s a real price for a singel sensor?

I looked into that unit and its top of the line, very good. Also very expensive. The book "A Field Guide to Geophysics in Aechaeology" by John Olson covers it in detail. A pretty good source for information on the gear and how to use it on a survey.
here is a link to the book on amazon.
