Carls Mag up and running

Hi guys, Have to brag here.I built the kit from fat quarters put it all together turned it on and nothing So out came the magnifying lense and found a small solder bridge on the Q2 2n3906 .cleaned that up turned it on and hey presto instant sound. to excited to calibrate it just took it outside and did a small search of a know area and it quickly found the buried can WOW I will calibrate it next. I hope this will enspire others to build this great unit I havent done any electronics for 20 yrs and it took a while to figure out the bits but it is really straight forward.
