Hi all
Is there anybody that can help with information on magnetometers??? I am interested in trying to determine the magnetic properties of the heavily mineralised Australian gold fields in an effort to better understand what is happening to metal detector signals and why they won't penetrate to very great depths.
I am thinking about a Fisher FX3 probe. Does anyone have any information about the performance of this magnetometer? Will it give any indication about mineral ground conditions.
