Flux Gate Gradiometer query - Speake SCL007

I am trying to constuct an FGM gradiometer using Speake SCL007 FGM's.

I have a sine wave output from the differential, but it flatlines for a range of values.

Does anyone have any ideas about the feedback pin or whether calibration is necessary for a gradiometer?

Hi,

All SCL007 outputs should be digital, not sine wave.
So only square, low frequency pulses.
Only sensor outputs have higher frequency, a few KHz, if I remember correctly.

Check the power supply, in particular the GND.

Sounds like you are missing a ground somewhere.

Have a look at Carls gradiometer... specially the power setup on the sensors..
