Dear friends: I have a question: 80% of the weight of the magnetometer is a sensor and a battery, so shipping is quite expensive.
whether it makes sense to supply kits for self assembly, consisting of the fully assembled unit without the sensor and the battery? (instructions for assembling the sensor will certainly be attached and it is not difficult to make)

Hello Spiridon,
Very good idea for the shipping it is ok for me to make the sensors with your instructions and also for the battery it is universal in all the world 12V -7amps (for no break power PC)
but definitely i am most interested with your gradiometer model and wait all the time you say...Thank you for your work in magnetic research.

DeepGeoTech Magnetometer news
Hello everyone in this thread. This is to update you on our DeepGeoTech magnetometer and to reply to some of the questions in this thread.
We are now shipping devices, parts and provide support from Nothern Europe, Estonia.
We now also sell fully tested, affordable kits. You only need to add battery, charger and sensor (there are detailed instructions on making it)
It was asked before- yes, we can ship to India, and pretty much all over the world. We have sent units to US, South Africa and all over Europe, all working fine. It takes ~1 week to US and ~2 weeks other places outside Europe.
All units (full sets and kits) come pre-setup for your region, so they will work out of the box (of course you can re-adjust as needed)
And, finally, we are currently running a spring sale. Since this is specialised forum, we will give additional 15% discount on full set or kit if you mention Geotech1 forum.
I will gladly reply to all of your questions here on the forum or via INFO at geophysdevices.com
