    • An inch or two more in depth would be fine.
I am going to make a waterproof housing and mount waterproof pots ,external battery pack worn in a sling pack . so i thought id do the Mr bill mods while I'm at it.
Straight carbon fiber rod with pin point switch ,new waterproof coil.

I was going to do this to my IDX pro that i have. But then i was gifted a new ( used once ? )
Classic ID 5 that was made by whites for Kelly co ? And uses the prism series coils ?

      • I made two IDX detectors with "AliExpress" ICs (specifically U1 & U3) and detection was 30-ish cm for different coins in the air, with a 25 cm diameter coil. But then I replaced R9 with a 200 ohms trim-pot and optimized it's value with the amplifier. Depth's is totally better now. I also got my hands on used but original NE5534 and LF347 from a website (which I can share with their specific numbers if needed)

Now with the same test conditions, results are between 38-42 cm in the air for same coins. RedBull can is detected between 75-80 cm in the air. I should mention my receive coil has an inductance of 38.3 Mil Henry, although I had it tuned for the required frequency, but I think the detector might get even better if RX coil was about 35 mH.

        * I did not mention the other ICs (LM 358 & LM 393) because I did not have to change them since I was sure they were original.

ID:	426480 Hi everyone.
I'm pushing forward on my first project.?
Converting a whites classic 5 ID into a water proof beach / water machine.

I'm in the process of tracking down and sourcing the needed parts for what i want to do to it which will also include the Mr Bill modes and also a few of my own ideas.
I am trying to find the wire connector plugs and socket which i think might be Molex brand as the only identifying Mark is an M in a circle molded in the plastic pitch is 2.45 by my measurements.
I've looked at thousands and haven't found this exact one that whites used so I'm hoping someone knows the manufacturer ,part number , ect of the plug and socket.
Yes i could solder the wires right to the board but i don't want to do it that way.
There are plenty of other connector i could make work but then because of how i roll i would have to change out the other to match.

The wire connectors I'm looking to source are in the upper right hand corner of the picture of the PCB.
          Thank you in advance .

              • After Searching Intensitive in the Web I finally found a classic turbo

the question is it a real turbo or just the sat switch

other question how does the classic 4 and 5 made for Kellyco that run at 8khz work?
