Any mods for a Bounty Hunter Quick Silver QSI?

Received a Bounty Hunter QSI in trade for some ammunition.. Searched the forum already looking for mods, but didn't find any. Anyone have some interesting ideas for this entry level detector?

Good in its price range. However it affords basically zero opportunities for electrical experimenter creativity, even for me (and I'm the cuss who designed it a decade ago).

A schematic needs to be generated somehow. I suspect the reason that there would not be much room for "electrical creativity" is because it driven mostly by a cpu.

If you are incredibly industrious like some of our wonderfully courageous Russian friends you could pull out the micro, disassemble the firmware, and replace it with your own. Just an idea.
