impulse yes takes deeper. but tdi is too specific, for gold nuggets hunting mainly. in the range tdi may be perfect. not good choice for battles fields with huge ferrous rubbish.
I did hunt with my first Tracker PI, dig any sound. it is something. in the time my buddy with Bounty Hunter 4 has dig only
coins. ie I only wasted a time.

What advise to buy if you do not pay attention to the price. I wish the appliance with the normal depth and discrimination of metals. No need to accurately distinguish silver from aluminum. The main thing to distinguish fine iron from ferrous metal . Thank U.

TDI has similar working principles to earlier Foster design. The TDI is a newer more modern detector with many improvements.

Look at what Jose' can do with his Goldscan 4 clone. http://youtu.be/GEd9_PoW9bE
Now imagine what can be done with the TDI.

And remember Henrikras has been detecting his historical site with many flavours of vlf. So for for Herikras, who is well versed in vlf operation, there must be a reason why he decided to now try the TDI.

I think once he becomes used to his new TDI Pro, we will be seeing some interesting items coming out of his site. Lets wait and see.
