After a few months of yousign the winner i can say that i am very happy with the gb mod but i have a problem.
i adapted a coil from tesoro tejon, it works perfectly but i loose 20% from the depth.
after google'ing i have discovered that detech winner is 90% the same with troy shaddow x5.
in an older toppic from this forum i have discovered this:

            Hi folks,

Sorry to bring up this old post but I need some help from the gurus. I'm not proficient in electronics so please bear with me.

The thing is it's quite difficult to find good coils for the X5 and seems some people have had some luck using SEF (12x10) coils with the X5. SEF coil pinout is as follows:

            SEF
            Pin 1 & 2 RX 36,6 ohms
            Pin 3 & 4 TX 2,6 ohms.

            TROY
            Pin 1 & 2 RX 85 ohms
            Pin 3 & 4 TX 15 ohms
Not sure of this since my multimeter reads different values

To do this they seem to change C7 capacitor to something around 220nF and I'd like to know if this make any sense to you guys since as I said before I'm not very knowledgeable in electronics.

            Thanks
            Antonio

the tesoro tejon coil has :

            PIN 1 & 2 : 61,8 ohms
            PIN 3 & 4 : 4,9 ohms

my quiestion is what SEF coil (12x10) have the specs from the quote above and for whitch unit is it made for, because the specs are exactly the same as for detech eds winner.

            best wishes
