    hi my name is Murphman
I,m new to forum and hobby. picked up a coinmaster classic 1 (50 bones and like new still has box and manual)and am in process of doing mr. bill mods (thanks mr. bill) and my problem is for sat mod when i go to r 32 to replace resistor It is bridged with wire instead of resistor. Should i pull wire bridge and put resistor in it,s place attached to 400k pot. I can solder so i thought with care i could do this mod. Also at vr4 there is no trim pot either just full of solder, think this is do to no threshold adjust from factory. So do i just hook up pot as normal? So does this sound right to you more exprienced guys. Thanks for your help i do appreciate it.

welcome, you need to take a photo or two of your board so we can see whats what.
upload your pics to your desktop, then when you write your post click go advanced, then click the upload tab(has a paperclip on it), and upload your pics, insert them inline then click done and bingo, then we can help.
i gave instructions for uploading as some seem to struggle.

Hi Thanks for instructions i do struggle. will take pictures tomorrow in sun, my camera is not to good will do my best. I,v read and think i understand fully the posts on these mods. I am using Mr.Bill,s thread as guide and am just thrown off by differences in pcb. Especially when i compare mine to others as they did mod. maybe their,s had more features ? I have little exprience with moding electronic and am nervious. If this works out i,d like to try a pi kit. thanks again for your help over this hurtle.

        Hi everyone
Think i figured out vr 4 trimpot was not installed at factory s and holes full of solder so i hook wires as normal using all 3 wires as traces show leads. It figures it,s raining so i took some pictures inside. Sorry their not the best but i had to shoot them through magnifing glass to get a closeup clearly so you can see. Please look and see if you can tell if i should just pull bridge and replace with 375 resistor. also in pictures you can see other holes full of solder , at one spot marked freq is empty was wondering if i can fill it and have freq adjust same for sensitivity? Had hard time trying to get picture of whole board clearly will try again tomorrow. thanks Murphman Click image for larger version

thats why full clear pics are important, we can match your pics with ones in the archive, and know for sure what to add, the mr bill mods as i understand are slightly different depending on which model you have.

edit, i have just been reading mr bill's thread, just follow it to the letter, as for the fixed jumper replace it with the resistor he recommends but check the schematic, if yours has no cemet pots on the board it will have a fixed value, fit the pot recommended and associated resistors.

Thanks for the help SINCLAIRUSER i,ll check a schematic. The model i have is bare bones one knob on/off disc level, headphone jack and a speaker. That,s why i,m trying to upgrade it a little. Just the ground balance adjust from inside to on the front panel will be nice. With threshold and sat it,ll be great. thanks again. KTM sorry about pictures i know it,s annoying but have no funds for better camera and no computer skills to fix pictures will try again if it stops raining outdoor in day light.
