    White's 5900 Pro SL PCB question?

    I just cleaned up a 5900 and replaced all the electro caps.
    I noticed on the PCB that there was a lot of circuitry not added to the board.
    Why was all that left off the board, what other functions could have been built into the 5900?
    Was it for upgrades for other models to come?

    Could be upgrade reservations for 6000 Di Pro SL.

      some part of functions is absent. you can take a schematic and to find up that.

        can you show me where the geb pot attaches. I have one of the boards 505-0191-b but no geb pot info

          The only thing I can think of is the auto GEB feature for the 6000's? Also, the later ones had an signal balance knob located on the front of the box. I had one for a few years but for some reason I had coils going bad all the time.

                    I have talked to Whites and in just a few minutes the tech was able to understand what I was doing. And helpped me with where the GEB pot when on the board. Whites has the best service. That is why they are tops in detectors over the world.

                        the GEB 10 turn pot plugs on P8 than mounts to the box lower left hand.
