  • Surf Pro 1.2 Speaker

    I need some help in making the correct install of a speaker or piezo buzzer on my surf master pro. Can someone please tell me and have a diag to show how to hook this up to the ear phone jack.
    I am confused weather I should use just a regular little speaker or do I need to make a mode to do this. Is the output to the ear phones audio tone or a signal. Please give me some advice.

    I have this picture I found somewhere;

    I believe it uses a regular speaker.

    The volume is low most times though so you might need to do this mod;

      Thanks but one question, I saw somewhere to use a 47 or 0r 33 ohm. Your diag looks like it is showing a 1.2 and 4.7 ohm or is it just the pic.

        Well the real original was 150 ohms;

        The pic I showed wants you to change R34 (the circled 33 ohm) to a lower value to get more volume.

        Someone else said to do this; "Put a 10uF cap across the 33R for AC bypass you will get a MUCH LOUDER volume then."
