  • hello da italy ......help me

Greetings all, I would ask for a wild thing to experts in electronics:
    1) it would be possible in a metal detector function with TR \ DISCRIMINATOR be able to operate in VLF \ DISCRIMINATOR?
    I own a fisher 555 VLF \ tr discriminator

maybe yes, with conditions of difficult job.
you have to look to side of ALL-1 detector, it is polish schematic based on 555.
so without radical board change on new one you will do nothing.

ok, i give TWO schematics. one is fisher 555, another is modernized 555. you can compare both and
see what you have to do. by another words, you have to choice your, optimal as you think, way to change 555 on VLF.

you're really a friend, but since they are not so good at reading the pattern you could tell me where and what changed in the VLF and you could score me in red what would I change? I can only thank you as we are too far away to shake your hand ...... tanks

ok, i see my english is poor for you. i have to ask George to response you in clear english.
also, i suggest to buy ITMD, at first, and read it before you plan to make anything.

George is the author of the book, very cooperative in good sense, believe me you will get full course how and where to mod Fisher 555
              or any other metal detector.
