  • Fisher CZ 6 Calibration Procedure

    Looking for the calibration procedure for the CZ6. If anyone has this or a link it would be very much appreciated. Thanks and keep on diggin!!!

    I think it's EXTREMELY unlikely you will find this information. Apart from Fisherlabs themselves, the only other person I know of capable of doing the cal process is Tom Dankowski, in Florida. His website, Dankowski Detectors will have contact details. I believe he doesn't charge a fixed fee, it's very negotiable, and depends on what needs doing, eg one coil or multiple coils? Any repair work needed? Connector changes?

      Yes i am very familiar with Tom Dankowski. I have worked in electronics for 30 years and do a lot of modification and repair and just thought i would ask and see if the procedure were out there. Thanks.

          I believe he mentioned someone else as an original author of a prototype, but he was deeply involved in turning the prototype into production machine.
          It is too complex for my taste. In a way it defies the idea of a production line.
