    Nice video, very informative, seems like these little beads are good for supressing high freq. while not affecting lower freq. much. Didnt think these tiny things be so effective. Maybe can find some way to use them in metal detector circuit, along with bypass caps.

      In the pinokio file for barracuda modding from kt315 they are recommended on the power lines of the 5534 for noise suppressing.

        Hello.It's an old thread but I'll answer it.
        Ferrite beads show no effect where DC voltage, current flows.
        They are only used to block parasitic oscillations and harmonic oscillations that are above the oscillation or alternating voltage along the line as a choke coil. They are occasionally used at the base terminals of oscillator transistors or final transistors so that parasitic oscillations do not burn the transistors of high frequency operation. Other than that it's useless.
