  • Easy VCO for surfpi?

    Any one have a relatively simple to engineer VCO for surfpi as the constant whine is driving me potty love the surfpi but hate the whine anything that would change it to geiger type click or proximity style sound would do.......

    You could either try the one from MiniPulse Plus, or the Hammerhead.

      Thanks Qiaozhi i will look into it i was hoping for a simple modular "strapon" to add to existing surfpi's as it seems lots of peeps are still building the longboard version but not using it so much as it (the wasp in a jar noise) really gets on your nerves after just a little while of actual use.
      I have minipulse and surfpi pro but also have a couple of straight surfs i would like to soften up even just lowering the tone down to the "bumble bee" zone would be preferable.

            I have not made and tested this, I found it on the net somewhere, would be easy to test.

              Thanks 6666 i will add it to the pile (of one so far) it appears to be similar to the minipulse vco section but i will have to investigate how it will hook in to the circuit in reality.
