Is it possible to read the program from a V3I and load that hex file into a V3 to make it a V3I? I aquired a V3 and would like to update it. It's a 2009 model

More to this question. Is the JTAG fuse blown? Can you access the hex code from the BSL? -
There are 2 micros. The one upstairs is a Freescale ARM9 with no internal flash, everything is in external flash and easy to read. But the one downstairs is an MSP430 and probably has the JTAG fuse blown. I think both need to be programmed for V3->V3i.Comment
