silver umax ground balance

I want to put the ground balance pot to a tesoro Silver Umax.

This has been discussed before, I believe. Search both the Tech and Modifcations forums.

I don't have a Silver uMax, but there should be 2 or 3 PCB-mounted pots. One of them is a "pre-set" ground balance. Simply replace it with a panel-mounted pot. Preferably 10-turn.

Not enough room to put a 10 turner in a uMax.

Goto http://rswww.com and look for part #168-291 This looks fantastic when you use a micro toggle switch to change between this and the preset one.

You will have to bend the leads on the switch AND use insulating slwwves as there's not much room inside that Tesoro case.
