  • Surfmaster PI PCB pics

    Hello!

I have a Surfmaster PI and I'm wondering if someone has better pics of the bottom of the PCB. I'm trying to work on it to do the mods but having a hard time with a section of the PCB traces. Here's what I have as a reference. The upper left area on the bottom of the PCB is a little messy (that's how it was when I bought it).

I repaired one of these recently, but didn't take any photos of the underside of the PCB. The schematic is attached, if that helps.
I had to replace the TX oscillator and the voltage converter, plus the battery pack. Both controls were also very scratchy and needed replacing.
It now works as good as when it was new.

It was also interesting to compare an original unit with the Arduino Nano PI. The ANPI has more depth and can work with a shorter sample delay.

I definitely have to sit down and trace this one. The bottom side looks different.

kt315 I requested access to the Whites folder.

Thanks kt315! Here are some more from the Tianxun X3 - suspiciously similar to the White's PI. Has Gain, Delay and Threshold.

good home work using forum's data. thank you. anyway, to do Whites Surf Pro is not in my plan because I had released Barracuda board.

Yet another version, and this one looks quite good. Better than some of the old originals.
