Sorry don't know about the mods either but I do know that if you get their 12 inch loop it will reach for greater depth on most items! The 12 inch loop has greater sensitivity than the 8 inch loop on small and large targets so this greater sensitivity equals more depth! If you try to increase the sensitivity internally you may upset the balance and stability of your machine. Something to think about at least...................HH....................Joe

Yes i do have one, but not for sale. I just want to try it with different coils in the future.
Does anyone now anything about performance of this detector. Is it good?

Hi , I AM NEW HERE . I have one of these as well, and wondering if it is a good one or what. I would like to find the 12 inch loop for it as a upgrade . ANY ONE KNOW WHERE I COULD FIND ONE. Dose any one know any other upgrades i could do before i start digging .. THANKS FOR YOUR TIME.

It's not especially good, all-metal VLF and TR-disc. A modern $189 detector will out-do it. There are no mods I know of.
