Hi guys.
Last weekend i hit to a local park to test my new Garret ACE 250.
The machine performs very very good. Discrimination works ok and notch let me select wich items i want to reject or accept.
The detector set up was at, coins discrimination and half sensitivity.
The ground was grass.
First found was:
- 1 cms aluminium coin at 3 inches
- one silver ring at 4 inches
- lots of 1.8 cms copper coins btw 2 to 6 inches
- one bullet at 5 inches
- lots of 1.4 cms coins btw 2 to 5 inches
The detector performs very nice. Tha bad thing is it does not have a volume controls, but who cares about it, you can use headphones with volume control.
In conclusion, this is a powefull detector for the price. I compare it with more expensives models that has almost the same functions on it.
This detector is very easy to operate, when you are in all metal mode and when you hit for example an iron metal, the display show the icon that belong to it and instantly you can mark this icon to reject next iron objects.
Sorry for my english, but i ll try to keep you inform about this detector.
Finally i ll like to know if any one can post the coil schematic for ace 250, because I had plans to build some coils for this baby.
