  • Garrett Sea Hunter XL500 daughter board

    Hello all,

I have seen the schematics for the main boards of the XL500 on this forum, but never for the one daughter board. That board on my XL500 pulse has several corroded resistors. Two have corroded through the resistor. It is the only corrosion in that detector and I would like to replace those components, but I cannot read the color scheme anymore to know the values.

If you have any info on the components I would greatly appreciate it.

Conversely, if you have a dead XL500 pulse you want to unload, send me an email.

    Thanks,
    Joe

Can you show a pic of the needed resistors?

The smaller boards parts are on that schematic, but are not drawn as a separate board. Take a picture of the parts on the but so we can see the location.

          Hello all,

Here are the two worst resistors and one probably bad pot:

I did find about 12 others that I should replace, but I will start with the worst ones first.

There are some bad sppots for sure. Iwould change both pots and the switch also. The case may leak, you will have to test it. The other part should be replaced and the board cleaned.
