Sovereign XS battery or console mod?

I have a Sovereign XS, with the old style "plug in" battery. I am wondering if it is possible to convert it to use the "drop in" style battery. I have a drop in battery and my plug fits it, however, it won't fit in my battery compartment plugged in. Anybody deal with this before? Thanks!

Sorry m8 not possible without a LOT of plastic and glue
