My adaptor is working correctly with all variations White's 5900 and 6000 produced after 1991 year. At present, I am preparing the ready plate and the documentation in CD so that everyone was able to modify one's White's. Only basic knowledge of electronics and the ability to solder are necessary (when XL PRO - circuit is the SMD type). If you are interested, please to write to me.

            your circuit

Do your circuit only works on the 5900-6000.
What about the classic detectors or the xlt

Hello Mrand, I am the happy owner of one of the 7 kits that you sold (Italy).
I think that two important things would transform the XL:
                  1) a wireless headphone (transmitter embedded)
                  2) a 6x10 or 8x8 DD widescan coil.
I ask you if you can do this job, we italians would be very happy to pay you.
I have another question, do you think it is possible to put a manual ground balance in our XL PRO ?
Many thanks again, you are a great producer.

PS I saw the video of your ALL-1 detector, do you sell it ?

                    Hi Mrand,
Also I am a happy owner of your modification. Much compliments for your talent. They are of agreement also I with the demands for Margiop. If you succeeded to realize them it would be fantastic and I would be sure available to buy.
                    Bravo

                    Paolo

                        Yakety Sax!

Ok, i saw video, looking very nice.
But also, last seconds of video shows possible unperfectabillity of this tone ID; constraining item from coil and closing it up again to coil, obviously shows "area" of accurate identification. It is possible coin to be wrong identificated if it is to far away from coil, iron tool also if it is to close to coil. Same old problem, i met at almost all detectors so far. Aint not tone ID wich will solve this problem. Same with my TGSL handmades. Discrimination circuitry works perfect at shallow depths. But usually at larger depths it falses almost always. Best example is "horse shoe" at larger depths....let's say 40cm in the ground. In 99% TGSL will "beep" on it in both (All Metal and Disc) modes with very same pitch, last and decay of "beep". I simply can not be sure is it coloured item or just an iron. Ok, TGSL is handmade and it lacks in quality, but same i experienced with Minelab Sovereign,White's DFX,White's Eagle and many, many more...
So this ID tone mod is really excellent, bravo! But it has limitations conditioned from md disc cicuitry itself.
It would be real succes to find a way to extend disc. accuracy to higher depths.
                        Again bravo, this is nice!
                        Regards!

The circuit of the detector isn't modified. MultiTone is processing only signals available in the W6000 detector. And therefore differentiating between tones is only so good how is good the W6000 circuit.
At present, I am preparing the new updated version. She contains the selfcancelling circuit. Sound is very reminding Minelab Explorer

Yes this is correct. Tone ID is very nice designed and i like it. But limitations came from md cicuitry not from ID addon. Anyway this addon will help much and improve quality of working with md.
                            Again Bravo!
                            Regards!
