  • end plate of sd

After drowning my last project in paint stripper I am a little hesitant
To put on my end plate incase sonething does pop so!!!
    For sd 2000 minelab
I have made an end plate out of aluminum unpainted so it will be conductive
Would with matter if I use it on the power side
Which has on off threshold and tone
Any comment will be greatly appreciated even sarcasm
    Thanks Mick

        hi Zed
yes what i was trying to ask was
i made an end plate for a minelab sd 2000 out of aliminum and
i was wondering if all the switches are like insulated
so i dont short anything out
my guess is that they are but i am not sure
        thanks mick

Well Mick to answer your question "yes" but to answer my question,
why would you make an end plate out of aluminium when the original
end plates are already made of aluminium?

            Hi Zed
i wanted to move the switches around because the 2pole switch i purchased for the crystal mod was quite big just to keep it away from other components inside.i could use the origional but i dident want to put to many holes in it,just yet.see how it turns out first.

            Thanks for all your help.
            Michael
