        It might be easier to remove R32 and connect in an external potentiometer (for example, 1MEG) with some flying leads. Then you can adjust the pot until you get the SAT speed you require. Then, using your multimeter, measure the pot resistance. Do this for both the fast and slow settings you require. After that determine the closest fixed resistor values, and switch these in or out of circuit using an external switch.

          You want to remove the resistor on the board and replace it with one of a lower value (such as 100k) and then add a 200k potentiometer to it so you have a range of 100k - 300K . The values arn't exactly right but you can experiment. 100k will be fast and 300k will be slow.
